- Status Announcement on Compliance with the Required Public Shareholding Spread

Further to the Company's announcement made on 19 March 2015, UMSNGB wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") had, vide its letter dated 5 May 2015, granted the Company an extension of time from 27 February 2015 until 1 April 2015 to comply with the required 25% public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities ("MMLR").

The Board of Directors of UMSNGB wishes to announce that based on the Register of Depositors as at 1 April 2015, the Company's public shareholding spread was 25.15% which is above the required public shareholding spread of 25%.

Accordingly, the Company has complied with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the MMLR.

This announcement is dated 6 May 2015.
