Deviation of Profit After Tax and Minority Interest More Than 10% between Audited Financial Statements and Unaudited Results for the financial year ended 31 December 2014

Pursuant to paragraph 9.19(35) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Sycal Ventures Berhad wishes to announce that there is deviation of more than 10% between the profit after tax attributable to owners of the Company stated in the unaudited results announced on 27 February 2015 and the audited financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2014.

The deviation and reconciliation is tabulated as follows:-

The cause of the variance between the announced unaudited results and the audited results is mainly due to impairmant loss on property development costs reversed during the finalisation of the audit after taking into consideration that the development on the subject property was substantially completed (almost 91% completion) as at 31 December 2014.

This announcement is dated 30 April 2015.
