The Board of Directors of GKENT wishes to announce that the Company had received a letter dated 15 April 2015 from the external auditors, Messrs. Deloitte & Touche informing the Company of the streamlining of Messrs. Deloitte and Messrs. Deloitte & Touche’s client’s portfolio in Malaysia into one single entity, Messrs. Deloitte and their intention to seek re-appointment as auditors of the Company under Messrs Deloitte at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). The Company has received a letter dated 18 May 2015 from a member of the Company to nominate Messrs. Deloitte for appointment as auditors for the financial year ending 31 January 2016 in place of the retiring auditors, Messrs. Deloitte & Touche, and to propose the following resolution as an Ordinary Resolution at the forthcoming AGM of the Company: “THAT Messrs Deloitte be and are hereby appointed as Auditors of the Company for the financial year ended 31 January 2016 in place of the retiring Auditors, Messrs Deloitte & Touche and to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting at a remuneration to be determined by the Directors.” This announcement is dated 26 May 2015. |
