| Description | ACQUISITION OF FOUR PIECES OF LANDS BY BENTON CORPORATION SDN BHD |
Further to the announcement made on 24 December 2014, we furnish below the additional information as requested :- 1) There is no deferred payment basis on the payment term. 2) The proposed total construction cost of a centralised warehousing facility covering a total built-up area of 275,000 square feet is estimated at RM27 million and will be constructed over two phase. Phase 1 covering 163,000 square feet is estimated at RM16 million and Phase 2 covering 112,000 square feet is estimated at RM11 million. 3) Phase 1 is expected to commence on 1.1.2016 and completed by 31.12.2016 and Phase 2 is expected to commence on 1.1.2018 and completed by 31.12.2018. 4) The funding of the construction cost will be from bank borrowings and internally generated funds and the breakdown will be decided by the management at a later stage after taking into consideration Engtex and its subsidiaries' gearing level and internal cash requirement. 5) The relevant approvals have yet to be obtained on the date of announcement.
