Unless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the Announcements as well as in the circular to shareholders dated 13 December 2011 (where relevant and applicable). On behalf of the Board of Directors of Farlim, AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that as at the date of this announcement, save for the written consent from one (1) remaining caveator to the Settlement Lands or withdrawal of private caveat by the said caveator and all necessary documents required for the purpose of transferring and registering the transfer of the Settlement Lands in favour of Farlim, its nominee or assignee free from encumbrances, all the conditions precedent in relation to the Proposed Settlement have been fulfilled. Accordingly, the Company, FPSB and Farlim Holding Sdn Bhd (“Parties”) had on 24 October 2012 mutually agreed to a further extension to 31 December 2012 for the fulfillment of all conditions precedent. The Parties further agreed that all terms and conditions in the Settlement Agreement and the letters of extension dated 26 April 2012 and 26 July 2012 shall remain and continue to be in full force and effect.
