We refer to the announcements made on 31 October 2007, 16 November 2007, 20 July 2010, 18 August 2010, 27 August 2010, 5 September 2012, 27 September 2012 and 11 October 2012. The Board of Directors of LDHB wishes to announce that at the meeting (the "Bondholders’ Meeting") held at 10:00 a.m., Singapore time on 24 October 2012, at the offices of the Trustee, #12C Shell House, 83 Clemenceau Avenue, Singapore 239920, the holders of USD132,110,000 nominal value 6.0 per cent. Guaranteed Secured Exchangeable Bonds due 2012 (the "Bonds") issued by Excel Step Investments Limited (the "Issuer"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had approved the Extraordinary Resolution in accordance with the provisions of the trust deed dated 16 November 2007, as amended by a supplemental trust deed dated 2 September 2010 (the "Trust Deed"). The Extraordinary Resolution relates to (i) certain amendments proposed by the Issuer to the Terms and Conditions of the Bonds and the Trust Deed to be effected by way of a supplemental trust deed between the parties to the Trust Deed to be entered into before 16 November 2012 pursuant to the Extraordinary Resolution passed at the Bondholders' Meeting; and (ii) the release of monies held by the Security Trustee in respect of the existing security arrangements in respect of the Bonds for the purpose of conversion into U.S.$ and the application of such U.S.$ amount in making payments due by the Issuer in respect of the Bonds on 16 November 2012.
