Further to the announcement dated 2 October 2012, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, on behalf of YTL Corp, wishes to announce that as at the close of acceptance, excess application and payment for the Offer Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 17 October 2012 (“Closing Date”), YTL Corp had received valid acceptances and excess applications for a total of 865,126,105 Offer Warrants.� This represents an over-subscription of 175,955,653 Offer Warrants or 25.53% over the total number of 689,170,452 Offer Warrants available for subscription under the ROS as at the Entitlement Date. Details of valid acceptances and excess applications received as at the Closing Date are as follows:
Accordingly, 12,837,712 Offer Warrants which are available for excess allocation will be allotted in accordance with the basis as stated in the Prospectus dated 2 October 2012 in relation to the ROS.� A notice of allotment will be despatched by the Special Share Registrar for the ROS, Tricor Investor Services Sdn Bhd, to the successful applicants, by ordinary post at their own risk to their addresses stated in Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd’s records within 8 market days from the Closing Date.
