ADDITIONAL TAX ASSESSMENT RECEIVED BY BANDAR NUSAJAYA DEVELOPMENT SDN BHD (“BND”), A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF UEM LAND BERHAD, WHICH IN TURN IS A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF UEM LAND HOLDINGS BERHAD ("ULHB" OR "THE COMPANY")

We refer to our announcements dated 5 October 2011 and 6 October 2011.

The Company wishes to inform that on 4 September 2012, the Kuala Lumpur High Court had allowed BND's judicial review application to set aside the additional tax assessment amounting to RM73,836,712.01. The High Court ruled in favour of BND and declared that the Inland Revenue Board ("IRB") had no legal basis to raise the additional tax assessment.

The IRB has 30 days to appeal to the Court of Appeal against the decision of the High Court.
