Further to the announcement dated 6 September 2007, Sime Darby Berhad (Sime Darby) wishes to announce that its indirect subsidiary, Tennamaram Biomass Sdn Bhd (TBSB), a joint venture company between Consolidated Plantations Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby and Sembcorp Environmental Management Pte Ltd, which was placed under Members' Voluntary Liquidation on 6 September 2007 and held its final meeting on 30 May 2012, was dissolved on 5 September 2012 i.e. after the expiration of three months from the date of lodgment of the Return by Liquidator relating to the Final Meeting with the Companies Commission of Malaysia. The dissolution of TBSB will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of the Sime Darby Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2013. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sime Darby or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution.
