Pursuant to the Bursa Letter, HLCB is required to make the following monthly Status Announcement.
Based on the Company’s Record of Depositors as at 31 July 2014, the public shareholding spread of the Company was 10.24%. The Company has not identified a satisfactory plan to address the non-compliance with the 25% public shareholding spread requirement.
The Company has approximately 3 weeks remaining from the date of this announcement to the expiry date of the Extended Time Frame.
In view of the above, if the public spread requirement is not complied with on or before the expiry date of the Extended Time Frame, Bursa Securities may exercise its discretion to impose trading suspension of HLCB shares as stated in paragraph (ii) above.
Investors are advised to trade with caution in the counter.
