Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(20) of the Bursa Malaysia Main Market Listing Requirements, DRB-HICOM Berhad (“DRB-HICOM” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that PT Proton Cikarang Indonesia ("PTPCI"), an effectively wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company through PROTON Holdings Berhad, has been placed under voluntary liquidation and that Messrs Bagus Enrico & Partners (Indonesia) was appointed on 17 April 2014 as the Liquidator of PTPCI with full power and authority to represent PTPCI for the purpose of all legal actions in connection with the dissolution and liquidation of PTPCI. This exercise is expected to complete within eighteen (18) months from the commencement of the liquidation process. PTPCI was incorporated on 23 June 2004 in Indonesia under the name of Proton Tracoma Motors and changed its name to PTPCI on 31 May 2007. PTPCI is currently dormant with its previous activities being manufacturing and assembly of motor vehicles. The voluntary liquidation of PTPCI will not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of DRB-HICOM Berhad Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2015. None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of DRB-HICOM Berhad or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the voluntary liquidation.
