The Company is pleased to announce that on 1 June 2014, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Solution Engineering Sdn Bhd ("SESB") had signed a contract (“the Contract”) with a local private company for a contract sum of RM17,899,000 (“the Contract”). The contract is for the supply of and to install, test and commission a pilot plant training facility for a local institution. The tenure of the contract is for fourteen (14) months commencing from 1 June 2014 to 31 July 2015 and the defects liability period is twenty four (24) months commencing from 1 August 2015 to 31 July 2017. The Contract will not have any material effect on the issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders’ and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries (“The Group”). Bearing any unforeseen circumstances, the Board is of the opinion that the Contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share of The Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2014 and 31 December 2015. SEHB does not envisage any risk factor arising from the Contract besides business risk. However, the Company will take appropriate measures to manage and mitigate any potential risks. None of the Directors, its substantial shareholders or persons connected with them have any interest in the Contract. The Board, after considering all aspects of the Contract are of the opinion that the Contract entered is in the best interest of The Group. This announcement is dated 13 June 2014. | |
