We refer to the query letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad dated 5 May 2014 and the Company's announcement dated 30 April 2014 pertaining to the above matter and hereby furnish the following additional information for public release:- 1. The adjusted net tangible assets of PTSCAN based on its latest unaudited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2013 was IDR1,415,555,000. 2. The net loss and net assets of PTSCAN based on its latest audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2013 were IDR(3,837,258,624) and IDR(9,001,269,427) respectively. 3. The losses to SCAN Associates Berhad Group arising from the Disposal was RM261,303. 4. The sale proceeds are intended to be used for payment of staff salaries and the timeframe for full utilisation is within 2 months. 5. No other liabilities are to be assumed by Flexcomm Limited (HK) arising from the Disposal except for trade payables, other payables, estimated liabilities for employee benefits, accrued expenses and all operational cost from Janaury 2014 until the date of completion of the disposal. 6. The original cost of investment in PTSCAN is IDR918,800,000 and the date of investment was November 2004. 7. None of the directors and/or major shareholders and/or persons connected with a director or major shareholder have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Disposal. 8. Flexcomm Limited (HK) was incorporated on 15 August 2003 in Hong Kong. Its principal activities are provider of network communication, network multimedia and consumer multimedia products. The Directors are Dato' Michael Loh Soon Gnee and Mandie Chong and the shareholders are Flexcomm Capital Pte Ltd holding 83% shares, Cheok Lay Leng holding 10% shares and Dragon Group Int Ltd holding 7% shares.
