We refer to the announcements made by AmInvestment Bank Berhad ("AmInvestment Bank"), on behalf of Hibiscus Petroleum on 4 November 2013, 6 November 2013, 13 November 2013 and 25 April 2014 in respect of the Proposed Private Placement of Shares. For consistency, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement are the same as those previously defined in the earlier announcements. On behalf of Hibiscus Petroleum, AmInvestment Bank wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") had resolved, via its letter dated 6 May 2014, to grant Hibiscus Petroleum an extension of time of six (6) months from the implementation deadline of 11 May 2014 to 10 November 2014 pursuant to Paragraph 6.62(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“MMLR”) for Hibiscus Petroleum to complete the implementation of the Proposed Private Placement of Shares, subject to Hibiscus Petroleum obtaining the shareholders’ approval for the renewal of the shareholders’ mandate pursuant to Section 132D of the Companies Act, 1965 at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the Company. This announcement is dated 7 May 2014.
