Further to the announcement made on 27 November 2013 in respect of the outcome of the Extraordinary General Meeting where shareholders of the Company have approved the Proposed Acquisition (as defined in the said announcement), the Company has made an application to Bursa Securities for reclassification of its sector to better reflect the Company's new operating activities, taking into consideration of the principal activities of Jaring Metal Industries Sdn. Bhd. on the recycling and recovery of scheduled wastes. The Board of Directors wishes to inform that Bursa Securities had on 24 December 2013 approved the Company's request for the reclassification from "Technology" to "Industrial Products" with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 26 December 2013 (Thursday). The stock number and stock short name of Infortech Alliance Berhad shall remain unchanged. This announcement is dated 24 December 2013. | |
