Reference is made to the Company’s announcement on 23 December 2013 in relation to the suspension of trading in the securities of the Company on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. Hibiscus
Petroleum wishes to clarify that the material announcement is pertaining to the
result of the drilling programme of its 1st exploration well in
Masirah North North #1 (MNN #1), located in the Block 50 Oman concession. Such
material announcement is still pending the clearance from the relevant
regulatory authorities in Oman, which is a
requirement under the Exploration & Production Sharing Agreement executed
with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. The
above mentioned announcement will be made as soon as the required clearance is
received. In
this regard, Bursa Securities has approved the Company’s request for further
suspension of trading of its securities from 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 24 December
2013. This
announcement is dated 24 December 2013.
