Kuala Lumpur, 31 January 2013: Quill Capita Management Sdn Bhd (“QCM”), the manager of Quill Capita Trust (“QCT”), a listed real estate investment trust (“REIT”), today announced that it has achieved a realized net income of RM34.46 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2012 (“FY2012”). This is an increase of 0.40% from the realized net income of RM34.32 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2011 (“FY2011”). The savings was mainly from lower property operating expenses and finance cost. FY 2012 distribution per unit (“DPU”) was 8.38 sen which surpassed the FY2011 DPU of 8.30 sen by 1.0%. This translates to a distribution yield of 6.81% based on the closing price of RM1.23 per unit on 31 December 2012. An interim distribution of 4.10 sen was paid to QCT unitholders on 29 August 2012. The proposed final distribution of 4.28 sen is expected to be paid on or about 12 March 2013.
