Further to the announcement dated 18 January 2012, Sime Darby Berhad (Sime Darby) wishes to announce that its indirect subsidiary, Weifang Sime Darby Real Estate Co., Ltd (WSDRE), which had commenced its Members’ Voluntary Liquidation on 10 December 2011, had on 13 September 2012, received confirmations from the local authorities, Weifang City Administration of Industrial and Commercial Bureau and Weifang City Quality and Technical Supervision and Administration that WSDRE had been dissolved on 5 September 2012. The dissolution of WSDRE will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of the Sime Darby Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2013. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sime Darby or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution.
