The Board of Directors of PESTECH wishes to announce that Pestech Sdn. Bhd. ("PSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 20 September 2012 entered into a contract with Asia Advanced Materials Sdn. Bhd. ("AAM"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asia Cement Co. Ltd., Korea to engage PSB to, amongst other things, design, engineer, procure, construct, test and complete the 132/33/6.6kV Substation in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, Sarawak ("Contract") . The Contract price is USD9,010,000.00 and will commence on 1 October 2012. The Contract is expected to complete within 16 months from the commencement date. The Contract will have no material effect on the revenue and earnings of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2012 but is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the Group. The Company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risk associated with the Contract such as availability and changes in the prices of raw materials. The Company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when it occurs. None of the Directors and/or Major Shareholders and/or persons connected to them, has any interest, direct or indirect in the Contract. This announcement is dated 20 September 2012. | |
