| Description | BORNEO AQUA HARVEST BERHAD (“BAHVEST” OR “COMPANY”) PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 35,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.10 EACH IN BAHVEST TO INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY INVESTOR(S) TO BE IDENTIFIED ON THE ACE MARKET OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD (“PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT”) | ||||||||||||||
(Abbreviations used in this announcement are defined in the announcement made on 14 September 2012) Reference is made to the announcement made on 14 September 2012 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement. On behalf of the Board, M&A Securities wishes to announce the following additional information in relation to the utilisation of proceeds under the Proposed Private Placement. (i)��� New nursery and hatchery centres Upon completion of the construction of one (1) unit of nursery centre and one (1) unit of hatchery centre, the Group’s production capacity shall increase by an estimated 1,000 tonnes per annum. The construction of these new centres shall cover a total land area of 34,880 square feet. The Company expects the construction work to commence on October 2012 and shall complete on March 2013. The total cost of construction of the one (1) unit of nursery centre and one (1) unit of hatchery centre is RM3.255 million. (ii)��� Refurbishment cost for a live fish vessel The refurbishment work for the live fish vessel shall commence on October 2012 and is expected to be completed by December 2012. (iii)��� Nursery centres under construction The total cost of construction of three (3) nursery centres in Sandakan, Sabah amounts to RM5.55 million, of which RM3.49 million shall be financed from the proceeds of the Proposed Private Placement. The remaining RM2.06 million has been paid from internally generated funds. (iv)��� Working capital RM8.154 million has been allocated for working capital purposes.
