The Board of Directors of Rev Asia (“Board”) wishes to inform that the Company’s Sponsor, RHB Investment Bank Berhad has completed their tenure as Sponsor of the Company on 31 December 2014 and accordingly, has ceased to be the Company’s Sponsor with effect from 1 January 2015. The Board also wishes to announce that the Company will not be renewing its Sponsorship with RHB Investment Bank Berhad and will not be appointing another Sponsor.
Notwithstanding this, the Company has fulfilled the requirement under Rule 3.21(1) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the ACE Market which requires a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities to secure and maintain the services of a Sponsor for at least three (3) full financial years after its admission to the ACE Market of Bursa Securities.

SJ Securities Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the Board of Directors of MAAG had, on 30 December 2014 , made the requisite announcement in relation to the proposed regularisation plan which comprises the following: (i) Proposed settlement of all obligation and liabilities in PT MAA General Assurance and subsequent proposed divestment/ dissolution of PT MAA General; (ii) Proposed subscription of additional equity interest in CCAU which will effectively increase MAAG’s equity interest in the company from 47.95% to 55%; and (iii) Application to BNM for classification as a Financial Holding Company and subsequent proposed splitting of the composite license of MAAT into two (2) separate entities. MAAG will submit the said regularisation plan to Bursa Securities for approval on or before 31 January 2015. Any updates or further development will be announced in due course.
