Unless otherwise
defined in this announcement, all terms used herein shall have the same meaning
as those defined in the announcement dated 30 December 2014. Further to
the announcement dated 30 December 2014 in relation to the Proposals, M&A
Securities on behalf of the Board of MGB wishes to announce the following
additional information in relation to the Proposals: Information on the Land The original
cost of the Land is not made available to the Purchaser as the Land was an
inheritance from the Vendors’ parents. Key management to spearhead the Proposed
Diversification The Board
has recruited a new key personnel, Mr Ong Chin Keong to spearhead its property
development business. The Board believes that the Group will be able to
leverage on his experiences to kick start this new venture. His profile is as
follows: Mr Ong Chin
Keong, aged 43, a Malaysian, is presently the Project Director of MGB. He joined
MGB on 1 September 2014. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Quantity
Surveying from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom in 1998 after
completing his Diploma in Building Technology from Tunku Abdul Rahman College
in 1997. After a short working period in Malaysia, he further his post graduate
studies in Business Administration and subsequently obtained his Masters Degree
in 2010 from Open University Malaysia. Mr Ong Chin
Keong has worked in property development management and construction project
management for the last eighteen (18) years and has handled numerous projects
in Malaysia and Indonesia. He has been involved in design development and construction
aspects of various property development projects throughout Malaysia for the
past eighteen (18) years, thus providing him with the relevant insights,
experiences, expertise and exposures in the property development industry. Further, the
Group also expects to hire at least three (3) additional personnel (project
accountant, sales and marketing manager as well as senior quantity surveyor) with
experience and expertise in construction, project management and property
development industry. These additional personnel shall form part of the Group’s
new key management team and shall be supported by the existing management team
of MGB. The Group is currently in the midst of determining
suitable candidates for the positions and these three (3) additional hires are
expected to join the Group by the first quarter of 2015. This

In recognition of his public service and the high position held in the community of Sabah, Tuan Haji Ansari had been awarded with Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu (“ASDK”), also known as Loyal Member (Companion) of the Order of Kinabalu which was conferred by the Government of Sabah in year 1994. Subsequent thereto, he also honoured with Justice of Peace during the year of 1996. |
