We refer to the announcement made on 31 October 2014 pertaining to delay in release of audited financial statements for the financial period ended 30 June 2014 (“AFS”). Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of Kinsteel wishes to announce the following: (a) The reason for failing to issue the AFS within a period of not more than 4 months from the close of the financial period of the Company, i.e. on 31 October 2014 (“Relevant Timeframe”) to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) due to outstanding audit matters, in particular relating to the valuation of fixed assets of the group, which valuation exercise have yet to be completed as at 31 October 2014. (b) The Company is in the midst of finalising the valuation of fixed assets of the group and expects to issue the AFS soon, but in any event not later than 14 November 2014. (c) In the event the Company fails to submit the AFS by 7 November 2014, the suspension of trading will be effected on the next market day after the expiry of 5 market days from the Relevant Timeframe. Under such circumstances, the suspension of trading will be effected on 10 November 2014. This announcement is dated 3 November 2014.
