| Description | SILK HOLDINGS BERHAD (“SHB” OR “COMPANY”) PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 30,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.25 EACH IN SHB, REPRESENTING UP TO APPROXIMATELY 6.2% OF THE ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF SHB (“PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT”) |
We refer to the announcements dated 9 May 2014 and 12 May 2014 on the Proposed Private Placement. On behalf of the Board of Directors of SHB, AFFIN Investment Bank Berhad (“AFFIN Investment”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had, vide its letter dated 14 May 2014, approved the listing of and quotation for up to 30,000,000 new ordinary shares of RM0.25 each in SHB to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Private Placement subject to amongst others the following conditions: (i) SHB and AFFIN Investment must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Private Placement; (ii) SHB and AFFIN Investment to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Private Placement; and (iii) SHB to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Private Placement is completed. This announcement is dated 14 May 2014.
