The Board of Directors of FITTERS Diversified Berhad (“FITTERS” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Future NRG Sdn. Bhd. (“Future NRG”) (Company No. 814147-M) , a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company had on 14 May 2014 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with POIC Trading Sdn. Bhd. (“POIC”) (Company No. 889793-K) (“MOU”) for the purpose of developing opportunities relating to the treatment and conversion of palm oil wastes, especially Empty Fruit Bunches (“EFBs”) and Palm Oil Mill Effluents into resources and energy and with the establishment of an integrated palm biomass centre.
The MOU sets out and stipulates the manner in which the co-operation, dealings and negotiations between Future NRG and POIC to proceed and to serve as a basis of exploring potential business opportunities in the treatment and conversion of palm oil wastes.
