We refer to the announcements made on 13 June 2011 and 28 October 2011 in relation to the Compulsory Acquisition of 2.43 hectares of land in Selayang. The Company wishes to announce that The High Court has ordered that Crossborder Team (M) Sdn Bhd (“Crossborder”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPB, be compensated with an additional sum of RM3,159,000.00 together with interest on RM3,159,000.00 @ 8% per annum from the date of notice that possession has been taken till the date of full payment in respect of the Compulsory Acquisition on Lot No. 2466, Hakmilik PM2780 Mukim Bandar Selayang, Daerah Gombak, Negeri Selangor. Crossborder is not satisfied with the said compensation and will appeal for a higher amount as the compensation does not, in our opinion reflect a fair and adequate compensation. This announcement is dated 29 August 2013.
