Contemporary Force Sdn Bhd ("CFSB") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commercial Marketers and Distributors Sdn Bhd ("CMD"). CMD, in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commercial Importers and Distributors Sdn Bhd ("CID") and CID is a wholly-owned subsidiary of British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad ("BATM"). We wish to announce that CFSB has on 26 December 2012 filed an application to Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965. CCM had replied via its letter dated 20 August 2013, which was received by the Company on 30 August 2013, enclosing a notice informing that at the expiration of 3 months from the date of the notice i.e. 20 November 2013, CFSB's name will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register by CCM and CFSB will be dissolved. CFSB is a dormant company which was incorporated on 15 September 1994. The authorised and paid-up share capital of CFSB are RM10,000,000.00 and RM5,410,099.00 respectively. The striking off of CFSB has no material financial effect on BATM. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of BATM or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off.
