Reference is made to our announcements dated 4 June 2010, 8 June 2010, 1 July 2010, 4 December 2012, 7 January 2013, 4 February 2013 and 9 April 2013 on the subject-matter. Palette Multimedia Berhad ("Palette" or "the Company") wishes to inform that the Federal Court ("Court") has unanimously dismissed the application by the Company for leave to appeal to the Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal given on 2 January 2013 dimissing the Company's appeal, with costs of RM8,000.00 to be paid to each Respondent. The Court held that the case did not meet the threshold/conditions for appeal to the Court as the case was academic and involved questions of fact. The financial impact to the Income Statement of the Group is RM3,883,282.24 for the financial year ending 31 December 2013. | |
