The Board of Directors of Nakamichi Corporation Berhad (“NCB” or the “Company”) wishes to inform that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa”) had via their letter dated 19 August 2013, rejected the Company’s application for an extension of time until 30 September 2013 to release the quarterly report for the financial period ended 30 June 2013 pursuant to Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“Application”). The Company had on 15 August 2013 made the said Application to Bursa as the Company was incapacitated to prepare the Consolidated Financial Statements for the Group as the 51% owned subsidiary, Tamabina Sdn. Bhd. had yet to furnish its Management Accounts to the Company.
