We refer to the earlier announcements made since 28 August 2013 in relation to the public shareholding spread of KHSB and the earlier announcement made on 16 October 2013 in respect of the acquisition of 396,300 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in KHSB (“KHSB Shares”) from the open market by Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (“KDEB”) (“Acquisition”). The Board of Directors of KHSB wishes to announce that as of 14 October 2013 (being the last market day prior to this announcement), the percentage of public shareholding spread of KHSB is 11.43%. Further, as announced on 8 October 2013, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) vide its letter dated 7 October 2013 had granted its approval for an extension of time of six (6) months until 27 February 2014 or the delisting of KHSB from the Bursa Malaysia, whichever is earlier, to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Listing Requirement. Meanwhile, as mentioned in the various announcements made with regards to the public shareholding spread of KHSB, there will be no rectification plan to be undertaken by KHSB in order to rectify the public shareholding spread of KHSB and KDEB has no intention to maintain the listing status of KHSB on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
