Reference is made to our previous announcement dated 18 April 2013. The abovementioned case was fixed today for Case Management pending the hearing of SYABAS’ leave application to appeal to the Federal Court pertaining to the striking out of the Third Party proceeding against the State Government of Selangor. The Court was informed by SYABAS' counsel today that the leave application was allowed by the Federal Court on 28 August 2013 and SYABAS has since then filed a Notice of Appeal on 2 September 2013. Having heard this, the learned Judge has ordered for a stay of the present proceeding pending the decision of the Federal Court on the appeal proper. The matter is now fixed for further Case Management on 28 November 2013. Perangsang Selangor will make necessary announcement on further development of this matter in due course. This announcement is dated 4 September 2013.
