We refer to our announcement dated 21 August 2013 and reply to query letter from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ref. no. NM-130822-59181 made on 26 August 2013 pertaining to the above captioned matter. In this connection, Perangsang Selangor wishes to furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad the following additional information for public release:- Financial Impact In the event that judgment is made against SAP Holdings Berhad ("SAP"), the financial impact of the suit on the Group would be a liability of SAP to pay the following sum to AmBank (M) Berhad ("AmBank") by virtue of the Charge Annexure dated 6 July 1994 executed between SAP and AmBank: (i) principal sum of RM17,000,000.00; (ii) interest estimated at RM43,264,784.98 calculated as at 13 May 2013; and (iii) further interest on the total sum of RM60,264,784.98 at the Base Lending Rate of 2.50% per annum and default rate interest of 1% calculated from 14 May 2013 until full realization thereof. Notwithstanding the above, pursuant to the proposed disposal of 56.57% equity interest in Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad ("KHSB") by Perangsang Selangor as disclosed in the Circular to Shareholders dated 26 August 2013, subsequent to the completion of the proposed disposal, Perangsang Selangor will then not need to record the material contingent liabilities of KHSB Group which include the amount reported for this matter as disclosed in the previous announcement dated 26 August 2013. Operational Impact Since the relevant joint venture had been terminated and aborted in 2002, there will be no operational impact in the event that SAP lost the suit. This announcement is dated 6 September 2013.
