The Company wishes to announce that the percentage of public shareholding spread based on the Record of Depositors as at 31 December 2012 is 21.26%. The Company does not comply with the minimum public shareholding spread of 25% pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) ("Required PSS"). Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 9 August 2012 granted the Company a further extension of time of six months until 19 February 2013, to comply with the Required PSS. The Company will take the following steps to comply with the Required PSS :- 1. Continue to discuss with the substantial shareholders and /or their asscociates to reduce their stake; 2. Generate more public interest over the Company’s shares by conducting analysts’ briefing, press interviews and press releases; 3. Continue to actively participate in fairs and exhibitions held locally and internationally to promote the Company to foreign and local investors; 4. Recommend higher dividend in line with our dividend policy to attract investors; 5. Encourage employees of the Company to invest in the Company through building awareness of the Company's long-term goals; and 6. Word-of-mouth promotion to the business associates of the Company. The Company will make appropriate announcement once a proposal has been reached on the timeline and status of implementation to rectify the public shareholding spread.
