The Board of Directors of MNRB Holdings Berhad (MNRB) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Malaysian Re, had, on December 26, 2012, received the confirmation from Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) that the current levels of VC to Malaysian Re will be further extended for another year from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. The current VC levels are as follows:- (a) VC levels on Motor, Personal Accident (including Hospital & Surgical) classes are at 2.5% quota share without any cessions limit. For all the other classes of business, VC levels are at 5% quota share without any cessions limit; and (b) The current levels of cessions under both the Auto-Facultative and Auto-Treaty businesses are at 15%.
