We refer to our earlier announcements dated 21 April 2012 and 19 October 2012 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) entered between PalmingtonSdn. Bhd. (Palmington), a 60%-owned subsidiary of Tambun Indah with SIS Charter Sdn. Bhd. (SIS Charter) for the purpose of communicating and exploring in greater depth and detail on the possibility of Palmington constructing and building an International School on part of Palmington’s land known as Lot 8753 located in SimpangAmpat, SeberangPerai and held under the document of title H.S.(D) 28461 at the cost and expenses of Palmington and then lease the International School to SIS Charter. The Board of Directors of Tambun Indah wishes to announce that pursuant to the MOU, Palmington and SIS Charter have mutually agreed that the MOU to be further extended and continued to be in force for a further period of three (3) months to 19 February 2013. The Company also wish to announce that SIS Charter via their letter dated 19 November 2012 had proposed and Palmington had accepted the proposal to assign SIS Charter’s rights and obligation in the MOU to their subsidiary namely, PC Straits International Education Sdn. Bhd. (PC Straits International) and PC Straits International shall be entering into the Agreement to Lease with Palmington. All other terms and conditions of MOU shall remain unchanged.
