We refer to the article entitled “Trinity Group retains rights to its name” as mentioned in the Sun and some other newspapers on 21 November 2012. The Company wishes to inform that it had not received or been served the sealed Court Order in respect of the Kuala Lumpur High Court judgment which ruled in favour of Trinity Group Sdn Bhd the right to use the name “TRINITY”. In the meantime, the Company had filed an appeal in the Court of Appeal against the High Court’s decision and also, the stay of execution against the judgment which is now awaiting its decision and date for a hearing. Meanwhile, both parties are in communication in an attempt to settle the case out of court. There is no material financial and operational impact on the Group arising from the legal suit.
