| Description | DAYA MATERIALS BERHAD ("DMB" or "the Company") Recurrent Related Party Transactions between Daya Polymer Sdn Bhd ("DPSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMB, and Oticom Corporation, Korea ("Oticom") |
We refer to our previous announcements made in relation to the above matter. Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa") had, via its letter dated 9 August 2007, approved the Company’s application to announce the recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading in nature which are in the ordinary course of business ("RRPTs") between DPSB and Oticom on a quarterly basis instead of immediately after each RRPTs, subject to the compliance to Paragraph 10.08 (9) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Listing Requirements"). Mr. Song Tae Chin, who is a director of Oticom, had resigned as the director of DPSB on 7 December 2011. As such, Mr. Song Tae Chin, is no longer regarded as a related party under Paragraph 10.08 (9) of the Listing Requirements. Based on the above and pursuant to Paragraph 10.08(9) of the Listing Requirements, the transactions entered into between DPSB and Oticom ceased to be regarded as RRPTs with effective from the financial quarter ended 30 September 2012.
