Further to our announcements dated 25 May 2012 and 5 September 2012, Perangsang Selangor wishes to announce further development on the above case involving SAP Holdings Berhad (“SAP”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad which in turn is a subsidiary of Perangsang Selangor.
The Appellant’s appeal against the decision of the High Court dated 4 August 2011, proceeded for Continued Hearing on 5 October 2012 and upon hearing the submissions from all the parties, the Court reserved its decision whereby the written decision will be delivered on a date to be fixed by the Court. During the Continued Hearing, the Court allowed the Appellant’s application to amend the Intitulement of Notice of Appeal, Memorandum of Appeal and Record of Appeal with costs of RM2,000.00 to be paid by the Appellant to SAP and no order as to costs with regards to the 2nd Respondent. The amendment will correctly reflect the status of the Appellant as “Cergas Tegas Sdn Bhd (Dalam Likuidasi)” Perangsang Selangor will make the necessary announcement on further development on this matter in due course.
