- INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT

The Board of Directors of EITA wishes to announce that EITA Electric Sdn Bhd (“EE”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has entered into an International Distributor Agreement with Novaris Pty Ltd (“Novaris”) (“International Distributor Agreement”).

Pursuant to the International Distributor Agreement, Novaris shall appoint EE as an authorised exclusive distributor of Novaris to sell the products manufactured or supplied by Novaris from time to time in Malaysia for a period of 1 year commencing 1 October 2012. This agreement will automatically extend on each anniversary for a further 1 year unless either party gives the other party at least 3 months prior notice of termination.

Novaris, a company incorporated in Australia, is a manufacturer and supplier of surge and lightning protection devices.

EE was incorporated in Malaysia on 12.08.1996. The principal activities of EE are the marketing and distribution of electrical and electronic components and equipment.

The above distributorship is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of EITA for the financial year ending 31 December 2012. �

The above distributorship will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of EITA.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of EITA and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above distributorship.

The Directors of EITA, having considered all relevant factors, are of the view that the said distributorship is in the best interest of EITA and its Group.
