On behalf of the Board of Directors of KYM, MIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that certain conditions precedent under the conditional sale and purchase agreement dated 31 March 2010 in relation to the Proposed Disposal are still pending fulfilment. KYM, Harta Makmur Sdn Bhd, a 54% owned subsidiary company of KYM and Vale Malaysia Manufacturing Sdn Bhd have agreed to further extend the cut-off date for fulfilment of the said conditions precedent, if necessary, if such conditions precedent are not satisfied by 3 September 2010.
