The Board of Directors of Yokohama wishes to announce that the
Company has today received the attached press release from Mercury Securities
Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the Offeror, informing that the closing time and date of
the Offer has been extended from 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Wednesday, 8 April
2015 to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Tuesday, 5 May 2015, being the last
closing date as allowed under the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers,
2010 (“Code”) (“Final Closing Date”). Save for the Final Closing Date, all other details,
terms and conditions of the Offer as set out in the Offer Document shall remain
unchanged.
In accordance with Section 26(1) of the Code, the detailed
disclosure of the level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian
time) on 3 April 2015 is set out in the attached press release.
