We refer to the news article appearing in The Star, Starbiz section dated 8 April 2015, entitled “Kanger eyes up to 30% sales growth in 2015”, particularly on the following statement:-
“Kanger International Bhd, China’s bamboo flooring manufacturer, is eyeing up to 30% sales growth this year from RM66.72 million last year.”
The Company wishes to clarify that the quoted statement refers to a performance target over all aspects of the Kanger group of companies (“Group”) performance for 2015 for which the Group is striving to achieve. This performance target is based on the revenue trend of the Group for the past two years, in which the Group achieved year-on-year revenue growth of 30% in 2013 and 33% in 2014.
We wish to confirm that the bases and assumptions in deriving the revenue target are based on management estimates and have not been reviewed by the external auditors.
