Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad ("BHB") has issued the Letter of Acceptance Ref:(118)BHB(SIPSB)/21.7/2 dated 18 September 2014 to Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd. ("the Contractor") Lot 586 & Lot 578, 2nd Mile, Jalan Batu Tiga Lama, 41300, Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan for the above contract based on inter alia the following terms and conditions:- 1. SCOPE OF CONTRACT The Design, Construction And Completion Of The Proposed Samalaju Port Development Project At Samalaju, Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. (Conveyor System Facilities Package For Phase 1 Works 2. CONTRACT SUM The Contract Sum is for Ringgit Malaysia: One Hundred And Fifty Seven Million (RM157,000,000.00) only. 3. DURATION OF CONTRACT The duration for this contract shall be twenty two (22) months from the date of Notice to Commence Work. 4. LIQUIDATED AND ASCERTAINED DAMAGES ("LAD") A sum of RM34,383.00 being 0.0219% of Awarded Contract per Calendar day shall be imposed as Liquidated and Ascertained Damages for non-performance of the above works.
