The Board of Directors of Mudajaya is pleased to announce that Oracle International Co Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya Corporation Berhad, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company has accepted a Letter of Award from Amihan Energy Corporation (“the Employer”, a 40%-owned associate company of Mudajaya Power International Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya Corporation Berhad) to undertake the Offshore Equipment Procurement Works For 62MW Wind Energy Farm in Cebu, Philippines (“the Project”). The contract sum for the Project is USD118.8 million (equivalent to RM375.4 million). The commencement date of the Project shall be 2 months from date of Notice To Proceed given by the Employer whilst the completion date shall be 18 months from the commencement date. The Project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Group for the current and future financial years. | |
