We refer to the announcements dated 11 October 2013, 12 November 2013, 2 December 2013, 27 December 2013, 7 January 2014, 3 April 2014, 22 April 2014, 6 June 2014 and 12 June 2014 in relation to the Proposals. Unless stated otherwise, the abbreviations used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the announcement dated 11 October 2013. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Hibiscus Petroleum (“Board”), Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Board has resolved to discontinue the Proposals. Hibiscus Petroleum is presently considering other available options of fund raising which will allow the Company to raise the necessary funds more expeditiously in support of its strategic plans as it embarks on its next phase of growth.
