Further to the announcement made on 21 March 2014 with regard to the receipt of a letter dated 20 March 2014 ("the Letter") from the Secretary General to the Ministry of Defence Malaysia by BHIC AeroServices Sdn Bhd ("BHICAS"), a subsidiary of the Company, awarding BHICAS with a contract to provide maintenance and supply of spare parts, by way of In-Service Support for the Royal Malaysian Air Force EC725 Helicopters ("the Contract") at a contract value of Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred and Twenty Million (RM220,000,000.00), the Company wishes to announce that on 16 April 2014, BHIC AeroServices Sdn Bhd entered into a formal contract with the Government of Malaysia to formalise the Contract. There were no differences between the substance of the Contract and the Letter. The contract will be valid for three (3) years, effective from 24 March 2014. This announcement is dated 16 April 2014.
