Further to the Company’s announcements made on 15 January 2010, 22 September 2011, 13 February 2012, 25 November 2013, 17 December 2013, 5 February 2014, 12 February 2014, 3 April 2014 and 11 April 2014, the Board of Directors of HIB wishes to announce that pursuant to the case management on 18 April 2014, the High Court Deputy Registrar has informed the Company that no judge has been appointed yet to hear the Trial. Further, the High Court Deputy Registrar has informed the Company that the Trial judge will only be appointed once the Order dated 1 April 2014 obtained from the Court of Appeal has been duly extracted. The Company has informed the Kuala Lumpur High Court that the Company has been served by the solicitors of Bintang Garment Supplier Sdn Bhd (“Plaintiff”) with the Draft Order and has accordingly returned the duly approved Draft Order to the Plaintiff on 17 April 2014. The Plaintiff further added that they are in the midst of filing the fair Order to the Court of Appeal. In respect of the aforesaid decision, the Kuala Lumpur High Court has fixed for further case management on 16 May 2014. Further development on the above matter will be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when necessary. This announcement is dated 18 April 2014. | |
