Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, YTL Corporation Berhad (“YTL Corp” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that Batu Tiga Quarry Sdn Bhd (“Batu Tiga Quarry”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of YTL Cement Berhad (“YTL Cement”) which in turn is a subsidiary of YTL Corp, has acquired the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Madah Seloka Sdn Bhd (“Madah Seloka”) comprising 250,002 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, at a total cash consideration of RM18,000,000.00 ("the Acquisition"). As a result of the Acquisition, Madah Seloka has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Batu Tiga Quarry and an indirect subsidiary of YTL Cement and of YTL Corp. Madah Seloka was incorporated on 26 June 1995 with its present authorised share capital of RM500,000.00 comprising 500,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. Madah Seloka is principally involved in investment holding. Madah Seloka owns two (2) parcels of freehold land held under the titles:- (i) Geran 11366, Lot 328 Mukim Terap, Daerah Kulim measuring approximately 17.0359 hectares; and (ii) Geran Mukim (GM) 1484, Lot 329 Mukim Terap, Daerah Kulim measuring approximately 10.3433 hectares.
