On behalf of BAuto, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that as at 5.00 p.m. on 1 November 2013, being the close of application and payment for the restricted offering of 19,157,000 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in BAuto (“Issue Shares”) to the entitled shareholders of Berjaya Corporation Berhad in conjunction with the Listing (“Restricted Offering”), valid applications have been received for a total of 99,335,035 Issue Shares, representing an over-subscription rate of 4.19 times, details of which are set out in the attached Appendix I. The expected timing of the allotment of the Issue Shares to all successful applicants, refund of application monies to the fully/partially unsuccessful applicants and the listing of and quotation for the entire enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of BAuto on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad are set out in BAuto’s Prospectus dated 18 October 2013.
