On behalf ICB, MIDF Investment wishes to announce that the Joint Offerors have notified the holders of the Offer Shares that the closing date and time for acceptance of the Proposed Offer has been extended from 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Monday, 4 November 2013 to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Monday, 18 November 2013 (“Revised Closing Date"). A copy of the press notice on the abovementioned matters is attached. This announcement is a follow up to the announcement made on 22 October 2013. The Board of Directors of K-One Technology Bhd. (“K-One Tech”) wishes to provide an update on K-One Tech’s plan to expand into electronic learning services. Following the Business Co-operation Agreement (“BCA”) with Asia E Learning Sdn. Bhd ("Asia e Learning"), K-One Tech has commenced joint development efforts with Asia e University (“AeU”) and Victoria University College, Myanmar (“VUC”), an independent college incorporated under the laws of Myanmar and licensed by the Ministry of Education of Myanmar, to bring AeU’s executive management programs - MBA to Myanmar. Furthermore, we are pleased to inform that VUC was established as an independent university college in Yangon, Myanmar with the aim to empower students to achieve professional and personal success in dynamic careers by providing a comprehensive and supportive educational experience for students in Myanmar. K-One Tech will work with AeU and VUC to blend in some elements of virtual education via the internet to address the needs of the millennial students. Hence, classes shall be conducted through a combination of virtual studies through the internet and attendance in the learning center within VUC. The executive management program - MBA will have a personalized curriculum to cater to the needs of the market place in Myanmar and internationally. The initial target market is for working adults in Myanmar who want to improve their business management skills while aiming to raise their academic and professional profile. | Dato' Dr. Pang Chow Huat was confererred a Doctor of Philosophy in Design Technology from the InterAmerican University, Washington D.C. in December 2005. He has more than 20 years of experience in precision engineering in the plastic mould and tool industry as he began his career in 1991 as an apprentice with a local company specializing in the fabrication of plastic moulds and dies as well as plastic injection moulding. In 1996, with his in-depth knowledge in plactic moulding and fabrication, he founded Sanichi Precision Mould Industries, specializing in the servicing and repairs of moulds and tools. In year 2000, he established Sanichi Precision Mould Sdn. Bhd. ("SPMSB" ) and ventured into the design, engineering and fabrication of plastic mould products through Research and Development ("R&D"). He also the initiator for many of the in-house developed solutions in SPMSB, which is attributed to his hands-on technical know-how garnered in his years of working in the industry. He is presently the Managing Director of Sanichi Technology Berhad which responsible for the overall strategic and direction of the group as well as client relationship management. |
